I'll bet you're wondering "What can I do?"
Well, at this site, we won't tell you what you have to do.
We might make some suggestions about what you could do.
We can make some suggestions about what you should do, depending on the circumstances.
But mainly, we're here to let you know that you are not alone. We are a bunch of health professionals, from many different disciplines, who have all had a problem with substance abuse of some kind and we all have a license with the state of Virginia to practice our chosen profession.
We don't work for the police.
We don't work for the Health Regulatory Board.
We can tell you about our experiences, strength, and hope in dealing with the disease of alcoholism/addiction.
